Visiting this website
When you open a page, the data your browser sends is processed: IP address, time, the address requested, the volume transferred, and details of your browser and operating system. This serves delivery and technical security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The full log is overwritten continuously: only a limited amount is kept, older entries drop out automatically, and at the latest when a new version is deployed. In addition we keep a log that lets us check whether search engines can fetch the site. It holds the IP address only in shortened form (IPv4 without the last part, IPv6 only the first three blocks), the time, the address requested without any appended search terms, the response status, the volume transferred and the browser identifier. We delete these entries after thirty days.
Delivery runs through Cloudflare (Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich, Germany), acting as a processor to defend against attacks and to deliver content quickly. Cloudflare is part of Cloudflare, Inc., based in the United States, so processing outside the European Union cannot be ruled out; it rests on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. For error tracing, the browser reports individual failed connections to Cloudflare (network error logging), which involves the same connection data.
Unless you have consented, this website sets no cookies and embeds no tracking pixels.
Audience measurement
We want to know which pages are found and read. We use Google Analytics for this — but only once you consent. Before your consent no Google script is loaded, no connection is made and nothing is stored on your device.
If you consent, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland processes on our behalf details of the pages viewed, approximate origin, browser and device, and a shortened IP address. We have IP shortening enabled; your full address is not stored. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG.
Google may also process these data in the United States. The European Commission has found an adequate level of protection for companies certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; Google LLC is certified there. The European Commission's standard contractual clauses apply in addition.
Withdrawal: your decision is stored solely in your browser, as a single value ("yes" or "no"). You can change it at any time by clearing this site's website data in your browser — the question will then appear again. Withdrawal takes effect for the future; the lawfulness of processing up to that point is unaffected. If you decline, we do not ask again.
Contact form
The details you submit — name, business email address, company, company website, project type, preferred correspondence language and your message — are used solely to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and for purely business enquiries additionally Article 6(1)(f).
In addition to the email, a notification about the incoming enquiry is placed in an internal, access-restricted messaging system so that enquiries are not overlooked. It contains the same details and is accessible only for handling the enquiry.
Brevo SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France, acts as processor for sending. Enquiries reach [email protected]. We keep enquiries for as long as handling them and any follow-up questions require, then delete them unless a statutory retention period applies.
After you submit the form, we send you an automatic acknowledgement. Your email address is passed to the same processor for this purpose.
Name, business email address, company website and your requirement are mandatory. Without them we cannot handle the enquiry and the form will not accept it. All other details are optional.
Your enquiry first reaches us alone. Where clarifying it technically requires the manufacturer, we pass on the details needed for that to APCO Aviation in Israel. The European Commission has found that Israel provides an adequate level of data protection (Decision 2011/61/EU); no additional safeguards are therefore required.
Countering abusive enquiries
The form receives large volumes of fabricated enquiries. To counter this, every submission is checked automatically: we limit the number of submissions per sender, assess characteristics of the entries, and resolve the domain of the email address given in the name system to establish whether it can receive mail at all. This processes your IP address; it is not stored in clear text, only as a shortened check value from which the address cannot be reconstructed. We keep a log of conspicuous submissions recording the time and the rule that triggered — not the name, the address or the message text. Check values and log are kept for no longer than thirty days. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is operating a contact channel that remains reachable. Where a submission is assessed as abusive, it is not delivered. If you believe that is mistaken, you can reach us directly by email at any time.
Embedded videos
No video loads automatically on this website. The home page shows a still image in its header. Where a film is embedded you first see a preview image with a play button; YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) loads only once you click it.
From that click on, Google receives your IP address and technical details about browser and device; transfer to the United States is possible. We use the youtube-nocookie.com variant, which sets less data. The legal basis is the consent you give by clicking, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Until then no connection to Google exists.
Fonts and images
Fonts and images are served from our own addresses. There is no connection to Google Fonts or a comparable service.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal data we process about you, and its correction, erasure or restriction of processing. You have the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Please write to the address above.
Consent you have given — for instance when sending the contact form — can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. An informal message to the address above is sufficient. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority here is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
